The 7-story, 155,000 square-foot self-storage facility at 46 Greenwich St. in Hempstead, NY, was delivered for LSC Development. Extra Space Storage manages the facility.
The ground-up construction features 1,382 fully climate-controlled various-size storage units, two loading bays with high-speed doors, two elevators, sizeable drive-up contractor units that are accessible from the outside, a state-of-the-art security system with secure keypad access and an HD camera surveillance system. A great architectural feature is the abundant glass curtain walls; most notably the illuminated 85′ tower to highlight faux display units resulting in great street appeal.
